The Madera High School South Campus On-Site and Off-Site Improvements Project was an addition to the second High School built in Madera. Construction of the 48-acre site included 24,000 cubic yards of excavation and re-compaction, 191,000 cubic yards of import borrow, 16,300 tons of aggregate base, 8,600 tons of asphalt concrete, and 2,800 cubic yards of portland cement concrete. The site also included construction of 4 softball fields, 2 baseball fields, football field, clay athletic track, 6 basketball courts, and 8 tennis courts. The completed project is now enjoyed by the students of Madera Unified School District.
